Meet Verdeca, a native Puglian white grown in the region for at least four centuries and still something of a delicious secret. Talò is 100% Verdeca, matured for three months in French oak with regular lees stirring to soften the grape’s lively acidity and add a touch of texture. Straw yellow with golden reflections, it offers white flowers, vanilla, crisp green apple and pear, then a fresh, mineral palate and a pleasant finish. Serve well chilled at 10-12°C with seafood, shellfish and fish in light sauces. At 12.5%, it is a bright, easy-drinking white with real personality: summer in a bottle, whatever the season.
