Easy to love and hard to forget, Talò Primitivo di Manduria is pure Primitivo from vineyards close to the sea in southern Puglia. Six months in French and American oak add polish to a generous bouquet of ripe cherries and plums, laced with cocoa and vanilla. The colour is ruby with violet reflections, the texture velvety, and the finish lingers with a pleasant sweetness. Full-bodied yet smooth, it is made for savoury pasta dishes, lamb, game with rich sauces and hard cheese. Serve at 16-18°C.
