Chardonnay with sunshine, sea breezes and a southern Italian accent. The Cantele family is known for its pioneering work with the grape, and this wine, first made in 1993, is where it started. Grapes are harvested in mid-August, cold-soaked, fermented in stainless steel and rested two months on the lees, so it stays fresh and pure with no oak. Straw yellow with green hints, it offers lily, magnolia, juniper and linden, followed by ripe fruit and a rich, balanced finish.
