Zacapa XO is smooth, full-bodied, and incredibly silky on the palate. The initial sip brings dark chocolate, coffee, and caramel flavours followed by dried fruit and molasses notes. The Cognac barrel ageing imparts a delicate complexity with rich, sweet, fruity undertones of ripe cherries, plums, and figs. Mid-palate notes of vanilla, toasted oak, and delicate cinnamon and clove spice add warmth and balance. There's also a layer of nuttiness, along with hints of leather and tobacco, giving it a rich, aged character.

The finish is long, warm, and elegant.
